The aims of the event are: 
- Exchange of experiences and good practices concerning working with the youth/young adults.
- Networking and possible matchmaking for common projects dedicated to the youth/youth workers.

Addressees: Representatives of organisations/institutions/enterprises/informal groups related to education, interested in European cooperation in the field of education/lifelong learning & youth work.

The programme: At the first part of the event you would learn some good practices related to working with the youth and young adults - some specific projects examples, good practices - in the field of arts education, eco-community buildng, possibilities of upgrading competences in the EU with EU co-financing.

The second part of the event will take place in 'breakout rooms' - smaller international groups. There you would have the possibility to present your successful projects, exchange experiences, initiate new partnership(s), build your European network or just listen to the discussion if you chose so...

The aims of the event is facilitating the European cooperation in the field of education/lifelong learning through creating a platform for experiences exchange and new partnerships building and/or preparing to designing successful application for Erasmus+ small scale grant.

Addressees: Representatives of organisations/institutions/enterprises/informal groups related to education, interested in European cooperation in the field of education/lifelong learning.
We especially invite beginners in European cooperation.

Project title: "Recommendations for international project managers competences recognition and validation for lifelong learning" (AER-V).

Short description:
The main challenge the project addresses is little support available for recognition and validation of knowledge, skills and competences of international project managers active in Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) in the adult education sector, acquired through formal, non-formal and informal learning.The challenge was named during the realisation of the related project - “The first-time international projects managers support network”.

The overall aim is to support recognition and validation of knowledge, skills and competences of international project managers active in Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) in the adult education sector, acquired through formal, non-formal and informal learning.

The direct target group of the project includes the members, workers, co-workers, educators and volunteers of the Third Sector adult education organisations (i.e. Civil Society Organisations, including informal groups, Non-governmental organisations and other non-profit organisations).

The project flow is based on several transnational meetings aiming at good practices and experiences exchange. The project also includes a short-term joint staff training event - Structured Democratic Dialogue Co-laboratory.
As a result there will be recommendations for international project managers competences recognition and validation for lifelong learning developed.
AER-V is an element of a long-term strategic plan of the project core partners, aiming at delivering sustainable support for international cooperation of the adult learning sector CSOs.

Welcomeurope

Welcomeurope is a consultancy firm that advises organizations on how to create successful applications for EU grants and how project management, and offers trainings on a variety of topics as well.

Though many of the services offered by Welcomeurope are available for a fee, they have some introductory resources that can be obtained free of charge and which can help provide deeper understanding on EU funding and how it can be obtained.

One can download their starter kit to understanding EU funds here. This kit not only gives weekly updates on calls for proposals, but also offers tips for making sense of EU funding initiatives such as Horizon 2020 and advice for EU project leaders.

The Project Support Facility (PSF) was created in 2012 to co-finance projects around the Baltic Sea Region to foster sustainable partnerships in relation to the 3 long-term priority areas of the CBSS:

  1. Regional Identity.
  2. Sustainable & Prosperous Region.

The projects proposed have to be relevant for and with reference to at least one area of expertise within the priorities.

The 2021 PSF call is dedicated to innovative solutions for strengthening resilience by promoting inclusiveness and protection of most vulnerable societal groups in the Baltic Sea Region during a period of crisis. The Call Is opened from 15 February to 31 March 2021.

Eligible countries: Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Poland, Russia, Sweden.

The FIRST Network is an international network of civil society organizations operating in the area of adult liberal education (lifelong learning). The Mission of the FIRST Network is strengthening the capacity of civil society organizations and entities active in the adult education sector to operate in the international arena, enhancing innovativeness and the ability to adapt to changes in the modern world. The basic terms of operation of the FIRST Network are described in the Memorandum of Understanding Founding the FIRST Network.
