It is our pleasure to invite all interested in international cooperation and lifelong learning to the international conference valorising the key outcomes of the “First-time international projects realisers support network” project.

The Conference will take place 21 - 22 of September 2020 at The Guest House of the Tyniec Abbey in Tyniec (next to Kraków). The conference starts at 1 pm September 21st and ends at 3 pm September 22nd.

The aim of the conference is to capitalise the 2 – year long cooperation of five civil society organisations from five European countries: Poland, Italy, Hungary, Austria and Denmark.

During the conference the following main outcomes of the project will be presented and discussed:
- The Multilateral Survey Report on good practices and success stories at supporting international projects managers in the adult education civil society organisations.
- The Multilateral Research Report on key competences of international project managers in the adult education civil society.
- The ‘SUPPORT PORTAL’ for the first time international projects realisers.
- The mentoring and e-mentoring system for the first-time international project realisers.
- The training course curricula and open educational resources for the first time international projects realisers.

Last but not least, during the conference, a network of civil society organizations representing the adult education sector – The FIRST Network - will be presented. The aim of the FIRST Network will be to contribute to strengthening the capacity of these organizations to work internationally, enhancing innovativeness and the ability to adapt to changes in the modern world.

The Partnership decided to face the challenge to organise the European pilot courses (that were supposed to take part in Budapest, Hungary, at the turn of March and April 2020) - in an online form.

The European pilot courses "How to plan, develop and realise international projects" will take part 22th - 30th of June 2020.

The courses will be divided into 3 independent sessions and the opening and evaluation sessions:
1) Opening session: Monday, June 22nd, 15.30 – 17.00
2) Course 1: Planning & Designing the project: June 23rd - 24th (Tuesday – Wednesday).
3) Course 2: Coordinating & Running the project: June 25th – 26th (Thursday – Friday).
4) Course 3: Monitoring & Evaluating the project: June 29th (Monday)
5) Summary/Evaluation session: Tuesday, June 30th, 15.30 – 17.00.

We do recommend the participants to take part in all 3 main courses sessions. There will be also the possibility to take part in 1 or 2 chosen course sessions. Each course session includes the morning and the afternoon session. In the morning, there will be online lectures followed by the questions & answers sessions.The trainers would give the participants workshop assignments to complete. In the afternoons, the trainers are available for the courses paticipants for any support: answering additional questions/consult/advise/support at delivering the course assignment. To deliver the course assignments the participants may work individually, still there will be also a possibility to work in an international teams offered - in order to get a glimpse of how the international cooperation may look like in practice.

The European courses participant will be:
Group A: Management bodies members of the civil society organisations, working in the lifelong learning area, interested in initiating international cooperation,
Grupa B: Persons, who would like to work as international projects managers for civil society organisations in the lifelong learning area,
invited by the five partner organisations from Poland, Italy, Austria, Denmark and Hungary.

The courses are dedicated to the first-time international projects realisers (beginners in the field).

The language of the course will be English. 

"How to plan, develop and realise international projects"  is a closed training course - which means that in order to participate you need to be invited by one of the five organisations realising the project.

There were ten organisations representatives from five partner countries invited to take part in testing the mentoring process designed to support the first-time international projects realisers in planning and developing their first international projects.

The mentoring pilots were realised between October 2019 and May 2020, in all the five partner countries: Poland, Italy, Denmark, Austria and Hungary.

Currently the Partnership is working on the report, presenting the experiences concerning planning, designing and realising the mentoring cooperation. The experiences and guidelines for those, who would like to implement mentoring systems in their organisations will be described in the report, "Guidelines and scenario for implementation mentoring and e-mentoring systems supporting international cooperation initiation and developing in the 3rd sector adult learning organisations".
The general aim of this report is to deliver ready-to-use mentoring programmes, both for the adult education organisations managers and first-time international project managers.

The Guidelines and mentoring scenarios will be available in English and in 5 national languages of the partnership: Polish, Italian, German, Danish and Hungarian.

Nordplus Adult

Nordplus is the largest educational support programmefor mobility and co0llaboration projects within the Nordic Council of Ministers and it is funded by the Nordic and Baltic countries.

Only applicants from the Nordic countries - Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Iceland, the Baltic countries - Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania - and the autonomous regions of Åland, the Faroe Islands and Greenland, which act as independent countries in Nordplus, are eligible for grants.

Nordplus Adult provides an average of 50,000 euros for a two-year Nordplus Adult collaboration project involving three or four partners.
